Mobile applications developer Digital Chocolate announced that its DChoc Cafe Series has officially been launched on 3, AT&T and T-Mobile, with more than 100 operators worldwide to follow. The list of operators that will launch DChoc Cafe games over the next several weeks include Alltel, O2, Orange, Telefonica, Telecom New Zealand, Telstra, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone.

The DChoc Cafe Series consists of casual games that are typically played at a cafe, or at home with friends and family. The Cafe Series allows players to create personalized characters, from exclusive cafes where friends are allowed to join and compete against other cafes. While playing, gamers earn points that can be used to unlock bonus items for their characters or upgrades for their community cafe.

At launch, the DChoc Cafe Series will allow players to choose from five games, that are variants of Sudoku, Kakuro, Hold'em Poker, Mahjong and Solitaire.

DChoc Cafe Sudoku offers players the chance to enjoy the classic Sudoku game with infinite puzzles and five difficulty levels. The game includes a progressive help system with in-game animated tutorials and hints.

DChoc Cafe Kakuro is the mathematical equivalent of crosswords. The game features an infinite number of puzzles, three difficulty settings and an intuitive tutorial.

DChoc Cafe Hold'em Poker allows players to test their skills and luck at poker, in a variant that includes tournaments, cash games and all three Hold'em limit variations. The game has three game modes that allow players to compete against 16 unique opponents or play with friends. Gamers can improve their strategy with a personal Poker Trainer, or view the Player Profiler to track and analyze their style.

DChoc Cafe Mahjong offers Mahjong fans the opportunity to play the famous tile solitaire game throughout more than 100 levels and four game modes. DChoc Cafe Mahjong features animated tutorials, an enhanced tile selection technology and gives players the possibility to track their stats.

DChoc Cafe Solitaire includes 13 of the most popular solitaire card games in one product. Featured variants include Klondike, FreeCell, Tri Peaks and more. DChoc Cafe Solitaire allows players to personalize their card decks with one of three different themes, watch animated tutorials and includes intuitive double-click card-move controls that show possible moves.

"The introduction of the DChoc Cafe Series combines the trend of casual games with a community environment that promotes social interaction," said Trip Hawkins, founder and CEO of Digital Chocolate. "The DChoc Cafe Series demonstrates the promise of mobile games: socially driven entertainment that allows players to stay connected with friends while playing fun, casual games."

Digital Chocolate will continually add new games to the series, which users will be able to purchase directly from DChoc Cafe Series games. Free trials of the games and video demonstrations can be found at Digital Chocolate's website dedicated to DChoc Cafe Series, available here.
