Diablo III might finally be released on April 17, according to the Italian arm of online retailer Amazon, which has just pinned this launch date on Blizzard’s upcoming hack and slash dungeon crawler.

Diablo III has been in development for quite some time, with developer Blizzard taking its time to make a great experience.

After some major changes made to core systems, we've heard that the studio was planning a release between April and June.

Now, thanks to a leaked listing from retailer Amazon Italy, it seems that fans of the series may finally get their hands on Diablo III on April 17.

Bear in mind that this might not actually be true, but it does fit the release window and it certainly makes sense, considering that Blizzard wants to deliver Diablo III as fast as possible, in order to avoid further anger amidst its fans.

Expect to hear some official details about Diablo III’s launch date soon.
