14 DAY TRIAL // Lots of details on Blizzard’s major Diablo 3 expansion, Reaper of Souls, have just leaked online. Fans of the franchise, be warned that the huge leak contains massive spoilers on what’s to come, so don’t read the following article unless you want to be sure that Blizzard brings you the right stuff in the expansion.
First of all, the information has been leaked via DiabloFans website and NeoGAF forum member Dahbomb made a thorough résumé of the main new features Reaper of Souls will offer players when it launches.
Secondly, it appears that the source of the leak is updating the information on a regular basis, so you might get more details on Reaper of Souls later on.
So, the leak does no say anything about Auction House and Offline Mode in the expansion, so if you expect any details on these features, then you’ll be disappointed. Not sure whether they will get any info on that or not.
Back on the info leaked and summarized via NeoGAF, Diablo III Reaper of Souls is likely to feature the following new stuff that is not yet available in the original game:
- Ladder system with Seasons. - Clan/Guild system. - Adventure Mode (includes features like Loot Run, Devil's Hand and Bounties). This mode is separate from Campaign mode. - Nephalem Trials. This is another mode that will be implemented as a series of challenges that players can complete efficiently to earn better rewards. - Lots of new Legendary affixes and abilities. - Around 100 new quests and side quests spread across all acts.
All the stuff above will be included in the Reaper of Souls in addition to what Blizzard already confirmed when the expansion was announced.
The folks over at DiabloFans claim “the amount of info is nuts” and that they have “LOADS of more info, which is coming from a super early build.”
