Blizzard has just released a brand-new version of patch 2.2.1 onto the Diablo 3 Public Test Realm, bringing forth even more bug fixes and enhancements, ahead of the full-fledged launch of the long-awaited update.

Diablo 3 started its rollout way back in 2012, launching first on PC and Mac, and then in 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and finally on PS4 and Xbox One, in the form of the Ultimate Evil Edition, which also included the Reaper of Souls expansion.

In the meantime, Blizzard's team has kept on releasing lots of big updates for the dungeon crawling role-playing experience, adding fresh features, new mechanics, and plenty of activities designed to keep fans hooked on the title.

Patch 2.2.1 has just received a PTR update with more fixes

Now, the next big update for Diablo 3, patch 2.2.1, is set to debut in the near future. As such, Blizzard is testing it out with fans on the Public Test Realm, where anyone can jump into the updated version of the RPG and provide feedback on the changes before they go live for everyone else.

A fresh version of the update has just been released, according to the official website, bringing forth a few more bug fixes relating to bonus experience, BlizzCon 2014 cosmetic items, or the fact that the close all windows hotkey wasn't shutting down the Greater Rift completion one.

Specific classes have also received a few tweaks, as the Barbarian's Whirlwind Dust Devils rune has seen its visual noise reduced, while the Monk's Dashing Strike ability will no longer see its cost removed when using a Channeling Pylon.

A few items and monsters are also on the receiving end of some improvements, but you can check out the full list below.

The new patch version is already up on the Diablo 3 Public Test Realm and you can expect to see a few more tweaks as Blizzard is getting ready for the full debut of the update in the near future.
