Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been out for close to two months and the multiplayer-focused community has had plenty of time to test the various pieces of equipment, which have both gameplay and cosmetic effects, so the development team at Sledgehammer Games is now asking all players to take a shot of their best Operator look and share it with the rest of the community.

In an official blog post, the developers explain that, on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, it’s easy to go into the multiplayer menu of the shooter and then select the best look for a character and find a pose that suits him.

Gamers on the current-gen Microsoft platform need to press the Xbox button twice and then X in order to get a 30-second clip which can then be selected in the Upload application and shared via Twitter.

On the Sony platform, gamers will need to use the Share button in order to create and then upload an image via either Facebook or Twitter.

The #AWOperator hashtag needs to be used by those who are aiming to show their character to the rest of the player base.

The use of a dedicated tag probably means that, in the coming weeks, Sledgehammer Games and Activision will run a contest or a promotion which focuses on the images and clips that gamers created and uploaded.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is getting ready for its first major DLC

The Havoc content drop is expected to arrive in the first few weeks of 2015 and will be first playable on the Xbox One and the 360.

Gamers who buy it or have already secured the Season Pass for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be able to play on four new maps, use a variety of weapons and will also get access to the Exo Zombies game mode, which asks gamers to work together in order to take out waves of undead enemies.

A total of 4 DLC packs will be launched for the shooter all through next year.

In the meantime, Sledgehammer Games is also running special events and promotions to keep gamers engaged with the multiplayer, and a new patch will probably be delivered before the start of February.
