Video game developer Eidos Montreal and publisher Square Enix are ready to cap off E3 2015 by delivering the first official look at the gameplay of the upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the new title starring Adam Jensen.

There are 25 minutes of action to get through, including some conversation, some combat, and one final confrontation that the two companies consider to be a spoiler and heavily mark so in the footage.

Square Enix does state that the images are taken from an alpha build of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and that improvements to all aspects of the game will be made before it is launched.

Fans of the prequel series based on the Deus Ex franchise will be able to see some new capabilities for Adam Jensen in action, and there are suggestions that the world will be bigger and more complex than ever before.

The graphics quality of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is already impressive, and the game clearly aims to improve the immersion factor by creating locations that reflect modern environments while also adding some impressive new technological innovations.

The new story will pick up the narrative two years after the events of Human Revolution, and gamers will be able to try and change the way humanity thinks about individuals who chose to become augmented.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will build on the formula of the original

The developers at Eidos are saying that they are not interested in changing the core features that powered the success of the first prequel.

Adam Jensen remains the main character, even if some fans of the series might want to see a more original protagonist, and he will gain a number of new powers, including an impenetrable temporary shield and more ways to attack from stealth.

Because of the events of Human Revolution, the entire world is less interested in the advantages of augmentation and the story will apparently focus more on the effects of hate on relationships between individuals and the way hope can redeem them.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be offered on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 at some point in early 2016.
