Core development work for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is being done by the Eidos studio in Montreal, but it seems that the PC version of the coming experience will be created by Nixxes Software, a studio that is best known for its ports.

An official announcement on its site is saying that "We have teamed up with our long term partners at Eidos-Montreal to create the best experience for Adam Jensen's latest adventure, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on PC."

The studio is not yet willing to offer any information about the standards that the video game will try to reach on the PC or the differences that it will have when compared to the versions offered on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

Nixxes has a history of working on other projects from Square Enix, including the new rebooted Tomb Raider, the modern version of Thief, Hitman Absolution, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The studio is also involved with the coming Rise of the Tomb Raider experience, which will be offered on the Xbox One before the end of the year.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided does not have an official launch window at the moment, but given the schedule for the fall of this year, it will probably be offered at some point in 2016.

Adam Jensen is back and has access to new tools

The new Deus Ex title is being expanded once again with a prequel to the first two titles, which aims to show how Adam Jensen and the world reacted to the events that took place at the end of Human Revolution.

Eidos Montreal says that it will continue to explore how augmentations are affecting the way people think about humanity.

When it comes to mechanics, the company promises that Adam Jensen will have a range of new tools to use, including a powerful shield to stop attacks and a nano blade that can be used at a distance.

The boss battle issues of Human Revolution will not be returning, and there are plans to make sure that all the levels can be completed via stealth and without killing any enemy.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is an interesting title that has the potential to push the medium forward on all platforms on which it will arrive.
