After announcing that it will use the Half Life 2 engine for its latest title, Dark Messiah Of Might & Magic, Ubisoft has also offered the first details, and even a trailer, about the game during Games Convention 2005.

In Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, players will discover a new breed of action game, set in the Might & Magic universe. Players encounter ferocious combat within a dark and expansive fantasy environment.

Sareth, a hero who will be trained in arts of magic and war, will try to prevent the prophecies from happening. He can be a perfect warrior, a silent assassin or a wizard with supernatural powers. Just like any RPG, as players accumulate experience, they will have access to new weapons and armors, special combos, spells and fighting skills.

Ubisoft promises 12 huge levels and 40 weapons, among which swords, bows, staffs and daggers. Sareth, who was raised by a wizard, will fight all the characters the Might and Magic universe has accustomed us to: orcs, goblins, undead, trolls and dragons.

The game will also have a multiplayer mode, in which 32 players will be able to play deathmatches or in Evolution mode to gain experience and find new weapons.

The PC version of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic will be released in 2006.
