Susan Boyle reveals tracklisting for “I Dreamed a Dream” debut music album

Susan Boyle is, for millions of people around the world, the undeniable star of this year’s edition of Britain’s Got Talent, albeit someone else came out first. Her debut album, the much-hyped “I Dreamed a Dream,” is set for release on November 24 and has already topped once online pre-sale charts, beating heavy competition from The Beatles and Whitney Houston. Given the anticipation, fans will be glad to hear E! Online has the first details regarding the material in question.

First off, Boyle’s mentor, Simon Cowell, has long promised the world that her debut album will not only reach number one both in the US and the UK, but that it will also make music history. From what E! has learned, it seems “I Dreamed a Dream” will aim to do so by means of many covers of iconic pop tracks, including Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses” (which is already promoted as her first official single) and Madonna’s “You’ll See.”

“SuBo has released the full track listing of ‘I Dreamed a Dream,’ and the Britain’s Got Talent also-ran will be channeling Madonna (‘You’ll See’), the Rolling Stones (‘Wild Horses’) and the Monkees (‘Daydream Believer’), as well as herself (‘Who I Was Born to Be,’ written especially for the Brit phenom) on her cover-heavy release. ‘It was my greatest ambition to release an album and I have finally achieved it,’ she said. ‘This amazing journey has helped me find my own identity and fulfill my wish. There is happiness out there for everyone who dares to dream.’” E! says of the upcoming material.

The full tracklisting for “I Dreamed a Dream” includes as follows: “Wild Horses,” “I Dreamed a Dream,” “Cry Me a River,” “How Great Thou Art,” “You’ll See,” “Daydream Believer,” “Up to the Mountain,” “Amazing Grace,” “Who I Was Born to Be,” “Proud,” “The End of the World,” and “Silent Night.” The album, as we also noted on previous occasions, is currently available on Amazon.com for pre-orders, for those fans who want to know for a fact they’ll get their hands on a copy the moment it hits the market.

In the meanwhile, sources in the industry are telling the British media Susan Boyle will do a repeat of her performance on America’s Got Talent for an upcoming episode of the X Factor. It is not yet known what song she’ll perform, granted the report is accurate, but spies are saying she will perhaps go for something else off the album than “Wild Horses.”
