Recently, the search giant released a special Australian version of the online map solution, Google Maps, so it was just a matter of time until the company would improve the imagery included in the Earth program.

Google just has to enable its other layers (such as Dining, Lodging, Shopping) and we will be caught up with the rest of the world. They have also turned on the transportation layer which looks very neat with everything else turned off. For Australians, this update is quite an important one because it provides really impressive 3D imagery with the roads included in Google Earth.
