Bungie has just unveiled the full list of upcoming events that will appear for Destiny, its multiplayer shooter, in the following weeks, which are filled with big challenges but also plenty of rewards.

Destiny finally launched earlier this week across the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms, delivering a stellar multiplayer shooter experience that has captured the hearts and minds of millions of users from around the world.

Of course, seeing as how already quite a lot of people are reaching the level cap of 20 and are running out of things to do, Bungie has prepared special events in order to keep things fresh and exciting for all those who go through its new title.

As such, it's now revealed a series of upcoming events, via its official blog, that will go live in Destiny starting as early as today, September 12.

Lots of events are coming this month

First up, between September 12 and September 14, is the Salvage event, which consists of a special playlist for the Crucible competitive multiplayer mode. Players who participate in the event can earn Crucible gear, marks, and reputation for their Guardian.

"Guardians fight to claim and salve relics on small to medium sized maps in this intense 3v3 objective mode. Secure the relics. Disrupt enemy probes. Destroy the opposition," Bungie's description of the event reads.

On September 16, the Vault of Glass raid opens on Venus environment. Bear in mind that this challenge is intended for level 26 players, which means you need to reach the cap of level 20 and then progress with your Light level until 26 if you want to stand a chance against the enemies that are hidden inside the Vault of Glass. The rewards include a Raid Set gear and ascendant materials.

"No one knows what lies within the Vault of Glass, only that beyond its gates you will face your greatest challenge yet. Gather your Light. Stand together. Become legend."

Even more will kick off at the end of the month

Later in September, two more events are planned, in the form of Combined Arms, which tasks players with piloting "the machines of war," and Queen's Wrath, which sees players accept the queen's orders and settle old scores for her.

Later on, in October, the Iron Banner event is going to take place, challenging Crucible participants in a test of strength, skills, and discipline.

Bungie has also taken the time to confirm that fresh characters and vendors are going to appear in the game's Tower home base with all sorts of brand new gear. Expect more and more events in the near future.
