14 DAY TRIAL // As promised in May, Michelle Williams has managed to cook up a huge surprise for fans, bringing Destiny’s Child together once more for a collaboration that will be included on her “Journey to Freedom” album, which drops in stores on September 9.
The collaboration is called “Say Yes” and it’s just received an official music video, which you will find embedded in full below.
Not only did Beyonce and Kelly Rowland agree to lend their vocals for the track, but they also said yes to appearing in the video, which almost plays out like a Destiny’s Child video except for the matching outfits they were so fond of back in the day.
For all those fans who never lost hope in a Destiny’s Child reunion, this is absolutely the closest thing they’re ever going to get to one. And it’s gorgeous.
Michelle premiered the video on Good Morning America, where she also said she was touched that Beyonce and Michelle would be so happy and eager to help her out.
“I am just so moved by this moment right now and to have my girls on there. It’s been a great moment,” she said of shooting the video. Apparently, they had so much fun on the set that the director often had to remind them that they were supposed to be working, not party with friends.
