Bungie will use it to improve the game experience

Video game developer Bungie is announcing that it is launching a new update for Destiny, labeled 1.1.1.1, which is designed to introduce a new set of developer tools to the back end of the title, which will be used by the studio to better inspect and manage databases for the title.

There are no other changes made and the company is not explaining how it plans to use the new tools for the coming next big patch for the social shooter.

In order to get update 1.1.1.1 for Destiny, players will have to go back to the title screen of the game, but they will not be kicked from their activities, given that the level of urgency for its deployment is not too high.

Since the previous patch for the title was introduced, the company had some issues with moving items and weapons via the companion app, and the new developer tools might be designed to deal with them in the long term, as well as make it simpler to fix the discrepancies associated with the 4th Horseman weapon.

Update 1.2 for Destiny will be introduced before House of Wolves is launched

Bungie is at the moment evaluating the changes that it has recently introduced and taking in the feedback offered by the player community.

Once the process is complete, the team is set to start working on modifications that will be included in update 1.2, with the first hints set to be offered later in the week.

House of Wolves is the next full expansion for Destiny and so far the studio has only said that it is aiming to launch it during the second financial quarter of the year.

A leak has shown some of the weapons and the items that will be included, but Destiny claims that the information is outdated and that it has a range of surprises in store.

House of Wolves will probably introduce about the same amount of new content as The Dark Below, which means that gamers will be able to get through a new high-level raid and will have more strikes to engage in.

The level cap will also be increased and gamers can also look forward to another round of weapon-focused balancing to improve the overall experience.
