14 DAY TRIAL // Bungie confirms that update 1.2.0.2 for Destiny is now available for download across all platforms. Its changelog reveals lots of interesting improvements, and the game is already back online after going briefly offline so that the patch can be applied.
Destiny has delighted plenty of different fans around the world across the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms. Since its launch in September of last year, the title has received a variety of free updates and two different expansions that brought even more content to the multiplayer shooter.
A brand new update is available for Destiny
After releasing the House of Wolves add-on last month, alongside several patches, Bungie confirms that a fresh update is now live, taking the multiplayer first-person shooter to version 1.2.0.2.
The game went offline so that the patch could be applied on all of its servers and its different platforms earlier today, and now, after just a few brief moments, the title is once again operational on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
Lots of changes are included
A special changelog is also available, and Bungie mentions on its official website that all sorts of improvements are now available in Destiny. According to the developer, the main goal with the patch is to address feedback from players following the debut of House of Wolves, while solving glitches spotted by its own team.
After applying the update, Destiny players will notice that the first Wanted Fallen Bounty completed every week will drop a Treasure Key. The actual drop rate for the keys has also increased when opening small chests at the end of Prison of Elders, as well as from regular Ether chests.
Plenty of other tweaks have been made to Prison of Elders overall, Trials of Osiris, Weekly Heroics, and other elements from the game's various environments.
