14 DAY TRIAL // The raid armor and weapons that will be introduced by the future House of Wolves downloadable expansion for Destiny have been leaked online, thanks to crafty fans that managed to uncover various different elements that are already in the game.
Destiny launched back in September, and while a lot people were thrilled with the multiplayer-only first-person shooter, many of them were turned off by the repetitive gameplay or the lackluster story.
Even so, developer Bungie kept adding quite a lot of new things via content updates, while fixing issues through patches and organizing different in-game events to keep players hooked on the experience.
Earlier this week, the studio rolled out the first premium expansion, in the form of The Dark Below, which added new adventures in the story, new raids and strikes, as well as plenty of fresh and powerful gear.
Fans find armor and weapons that will appear in House of Wolves
Now, it seems that listings inside the game pointing towards armor and weapons that will arrive with the next premium expansion, House of Wolves, have been uncovered by fans on Reddit. More specifically, it seems that the new raid included in the add-on is going to bring plenty of impressive armor sets and quite a lot of top-notch guns.
First up, the Warlock class is going to receive a set based on the Archon, which should boost the native abilities of the class. Hunter characters will have a set based on Kell, which is a brutal leader and strong fighter. Titan Guardians will get the Wolf Walker set that turns them into even more powerful tanks.
A lot of powerful weapons are also coming
In terms of weapons, there will be plenty of primary "named" items of legendary quality. This includes the Terror auto rifle, the I4I Reciprocal hand cannon, the Gun with No Name pulse rifle, and the LOBO LFD scout rifle.
Secondary guns include the Ether Torch fusion rifle, the Docking Party shotgun, and the By Royal Permit sniper rifle. Special heavy weapons feature the Onslaught Solution System machine gun and The Last Rebellion rocket launcher.
Of course, the most coveted item will be an exotic quality shotgun called Lord of Wolves, which should come with plenty of different stats and effects.
As of right now, the weapons apparently have the same Vault of Glass gear upgrade tree, but it's possible that Bungie will change them in the future, as it puts the finishing touches on House of Wolves, as the add-on is set to appear for Destiny next year.
