Skolas should be easier to take down because of lower health

Video game developer Bungie has recently announced that it will launch a new update for Destiny today, labeled 1.2.0.3, and the changes are at the moment going live for the social shooter, with the downtime for the title expected to be of around one full hour.

The studio is now ready to also offer the full patch notes associated with the update, offering gamers a clear look at how the behavior of Skolas in Prison of Elders has been tweaked.

In order to read them all, take a look at the button that sits at the end of this article.

As promised, Bungie has significantly brought down the health of the boss and has made the waves of enemies more predictable.

Those who were expecting to see a range of other tweaks made to Destiny will be disappointed to learn that the company has only focused on Prison of Elders and only eliminated a problem linked to perks when it comes to the core mechanics of the shooter.

Presumably, the company will continue to explore the feedback that gamers are offering about the experience and might incorporate changes in another bigger update that will be launched at a later point during the summer.

The Taken King is the coming expansion for Destiny

Bungie will be working for a couple of months to make sure that both Trials of Osiris and Prison of Elders, which were added in House of Wolves on May 19, work as well as they should and engage a big part of the community.

Then, the company will probably shift most of its resources to the second expansion that is supposed to be launched later in the year, called The Taken King.

According to leaked information about it, the idea is to introduce an entirely new set of levels that gamers can explore and at least one new core feature.

Gamers will also get subclasses that they can use for their characters in order to make them more unique in combat.

The Taken King might arrive as soon as the middle of September, and we might get an official reveal for it during the coming E3 2015 press conference from Sony.
