Gamers should have less glitches to exploit

The community that has developed around Destiny might be eagerly awaiting the launch of the new Hard mode version of the late game Crota’s End raid, but the development team at Bungie is deploying a new hotfix for the title before it delivers the new experience.

The official announcement explains that there are tweaks made to the entire raid structure.

The Bridge encounter has been tweaked so that players are no longer able to eliminate enemies while activating bridge plates by staying in a specific position.

During the actual battle with Crota, the boss will be able to summon Oversould at all times because an issue which stopped his ability has been eliminated.

The Hard mode for Crota’s End will be launched during the coming 24-hour period and will introduce a tougher version of the experience that also introduces more rewards for the community.

The fixes for Destiny are designed to eliminate some of the glitches that gamers were using to make it easier to take out their enemies.

Despite the changes introduced by Bungie, it’s very probable that the community will find entirely new ways to cheese the raid, some of which will remain unlocked in the long term.

Destiny is preparing for more content

The official Twitter account of the game also announces that the weekly Nightfall strike involves a trip to the Moon and a battle with Phogoth.

After the Hard mode version of Crota’s End is out, the development team will probably shift all its resources to the creation of the next expansion, which is called House of Wolves and is supposed to arrive during March, according to a leak.

It is set to deploy as much new content as The Dark Below did in December, which means a new big end game raid is also being added, which will offer the community more opportunities to exploit glitches.

An even bigger expansion for Destiny is planned for this year and rumors are saying that it will offer more locations for gamers to explore and will deliver some important tweaks to the core gameplay, although an official announcement has not yet been made.
