Khloe Kardashian has always been very open about her problems to become pregnant. After sister Kourney announced that she was expecting her second child, she decided she and Lamar could no longer wait, so she started IVF.

When they tied the knot after just months of dating, many thought they wouldn't last. Now, two years after getting married, Khloe and Lamar are still having serious problems with conceiving.

In September this year, says a new report cited by PageSix, Khloe started to get ready for IVF but it was hearing that sister Kourney was already expecting her second child that finally convinced her the time was right for the treatment.

“She is desperate for a baby with Lamar and will do whatever it takes. They have faith the IVF will work,” an unnamed source claiming to be close to the family is quoted as saying.

“The source claims that Kardashian and Odom began consultations in September, and are getting ready for the procedure which costs $10,000 (€7,492) to $15,000 (€11,239) a pop,” PageSix writes.

Admittedly, the decision to have the in vitro fertilization now was prompted by Kourtney's happy news, but Khloe and Lamar had been trying to get pregnant for a very long time, almost immediately after they were married.

“While Khloe has not confirmed that she and her husband are trying IVF, she has been very vocal about her desire to have children since marrying Odom in 2009,” the aforementioned celebrity e-zine writes.

Back in July 2010, reports were saying that Khloe had already started IVF, but the latest indicates that it's just now that she's started getting it.

At the time, various glossies were saying that Khloe was working with an entire “team of people” to become a mother and that she had even booked a special trip with Lamar for the specific purpose of getting pregnant, as we also informed you at the time.
