According to the folks at HashBang Industries, the company is offering registered users of Desktop Remind who purchased the software after 3/19/2009 (two months before the release of iDeskCal) a free upgrade to iDeskCal and all other registered users upgrade pricing.
As noted above, iDeskCal embeds one's calendar on their desktop, over their wallpaper but behind their desktop items. This way, the application enables users to quickly find out exactly what is on their agenda. iDeskCal is user-configurable too. Users can place it exactly where they want on their desktop, and configure the font and font color to suit their needs, according to HashBang Industries.
