Denise Richards, Charlie Sheen’s ex wife, is a mother again. The actress has just adopted a newborn baby girl, who has born in the US and has been named after Denise’s mother, it has emerged.

Denise already has two children but, until now, she’s never spoken about her intention to adopt another child.

Presumably, she chose not to make her adoption plans public in order to avoid media attention for as long as possible.

TMZ is the one to break the story on the adoption, while a rep for the star has already confirmed the happy news for People magazine.

“Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise’s mom (Joni), and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise,” says the publicist.

“Denise and Eloise’s big sisters couldn’t be happier and feel incredibly blessed,” the rep notes in the same statement.

Sam (7) and Lola (6) are Denise’s daughters from her marriage to Charlie Sheen, about which Denise will talk in more detail in the book she’s now writing.

In a recent interview, the actress said her reason for writing her memoirs was the need to show the public that not everything was bad in her marriage to the troubled former star of “Two and a Half Men,” despite the fact that the media focused mostly on the negative aspects.

“I get into the good stuff about my marriage, because people have only read the rotten stuff,” Denise said at the time.

“So, you know, there was a beautiful love story between he and I and then it went the way it went,” she added.

In March this year, she and Charlie were again going through a rough patch, as he launched a very vile attack on her on Twitter, accusing her of kidnapping his dog.

In her defense, Denise had removed the pet from Sheen’s house after another dog had died of malnutrition while in his care, as we also informed you at the time.
