The Xbox Live Marketplace is a great place to be, as far as downloadable content is concerned and I'm not talking only about games. The Wii Shop Channel is no match for it, even though it's Nintendo's service that offers the best of the classics and arcade originals. But let's see what Microsoft's offering its users this week.

Thanks to Xbox Live's Major Nelson, we found out that NASCAR 08 and All-Pro Football 2K8 are available to get via XBLA, as downloadable demos, for free. What, you didn't expect them to throw in the full games for free now did you? Anyway, here's the deal, just as Major Nelson puts it:

As for All-Pro Football 2K8, the same site posts the following:

All-Pro Football 2K8 features a fictional league called the All-Pro League, or APL. The APL consists of 24 teams that are grouped into four divisions of six teams each, whereas the NFL's 32 teams are grouped into eight divisions of four teams each. Both leagues, however, run a sixteen-game schedule and hold a championship game at the end of the playoffs.
