Demi Moore is believed to be in rehab, at the prestigious Cirque Lodge in Utah, where, among other things, she's also receiving treatment for severe anorexia. Right now, she's not even allowed to look at the scales, says a new report.

Earlier this week, word got out online that Demi had finally caved in to pressure from family and friends, admitted she had a problem and agreed to go to rehab.

Reports said that she was mainly seeking help for her substance and alcohol addiction, but Radar Online is now saying that she's also under surveillance for an eating disorder.

That Demi might be suffering from one has been speculated ever since her weight plummeted drastically after her split from actor Ashton Kutcher, to whom she was married for 6 years and who cheated on her precisely on their wedding anniversary.

The aforementioned celebrity e-zine claims that's precisely the case – and even offers some details of the kind of treatment the star is receiving.

For one, says the report, she's not allowed to look at the scales when she has her regular weigh-ins, which enable her doctors to determine whether she's responding well to treatment.

“Doctors at Cirque don't want patients to fixate on their weight. Eating disorders are all about control, plain and simple. When someone is in the ravages of an eating disorder, their lives are typically out of control,” an inside source says for Radar.

“The one thing someone with an eating disorder believes they can control in their lives, is food. Demi isn't being forced fed or chastised for not wanting to eat though,” the spy explains.

“The counselors at Cirque are working on giving Demi a safe and controlled environment, she is getting the best care possible. She is also dealing with an addiction to prescription medication, and she has a comprehensive team taking care of her,” the tipster further says.

Because of the wide range of her issues, Demi is expected to be in rehab for at least 60 days. The first week, she's not allowed to take or make any calls, but she'll be allowed to receive visitors afterwards.

“People just say Demi should just eat something, well if it were that easy, she would. Anorexia is a very serious disease, and treatment can take three months before a patient begins to see success,” the insider adds.

For the record, ever since she was rushed to the hospital days ago after collapsing at her home, neither Demi nor her publicist has said anything official about her condition, save for the initial statement saying she was “exhausted.”
