Mobile phone users in the United States have had the chance to taste the features of no less than four Windows Phone 7 devices that were put on sale in the country in early November, and it seems that they should soon enjoy a new handset, one the airwaves of T-Mobile USA.

We referring here to the Dell Venue Pro, of course, the Windows Phone 7 handset that was announced as being on its way to the US market before the end of the ongoing year, following the release of Samsung Focus, HTC Surround, HTC HD7, or LG Quantum.

The Dell Venue Pro will join HTC HD7 on T-Mobile's network, as the other three handsets were launched at AT&T, though being sold via Dell's own portal, where it was already spotted with a price tag of $500 attached to it.

This is the off-contract price tag at which the handset would be made available for purchase with, though users would also have the possibility to purchase it with the signing of a two-year contract, case in which it would cost only $150.

The Windows Phone 7-based Venue Pro made only a brief appearance on Dell's website, though some lucky people had the chance to take a look at it, and to spot a December 14th shipping date.

Since Dell already pulled the page down, there are great chances that the company would operate changes to these details, so we'll have to wait for Venue Pro to make an official appearance on the website to learn whether the shipping date would pan out or not.

In case there are some who might have not encountered the Dell Venue Pro before, we should note that this is the first portrait slider to bring the new Windows Phone 7 OS to the market, though it still offers a large 4.1-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive display.

The specifications list of this device also includes a 1GHz application processor, a 5MP camera with Auto focus, LED flash and video recording, 8GB / 16GB of non-removable storage, or WLAN802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR connectivity.

The phone also includes G-sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, FM radio, and GPS receiver. Those who would like to sign up to receive a notification on the availability of this device should head over to Dell's website here. (via Engadget)

Update: The handset was already made available for purchase at Dell, with the $150 cost attached to the 16GB model, while the 8GB version would cost only $99 on contract, and $450 without. Head over to Dell's website here

to make a purchase.
