The significant wave of Dell tablets is finally upon us, as the company’s CEO promised just a week ago. At its media event held in New York, the PC manufacturer announced a bunch of new tablets under its revived Venue banner, running both Windows 8.1 and Android.

Meet the Dell Venue 8 Pro and Dell Venue 11 Pro, both Windows 8.1 machines which, despite being very light and portable, deliver significant powerful feats. They were built to deliver speed and accuracy, being powered by Intel Atom quad-core Bay Trail processors.

The first one packs an HD IPS display and comes bundled up with the Dell Active Stylus and Office 2013 Home & Student.

It will become available starting October 18 for $300 / €221 and up.

Its larger brother boasts Ultrabook capabilities due to its detachable keyboard. Perfect for travelling, the new slate also offers a removable battery, which is unusual for most tablet offerings these days.

The Venue 11 Pro offers a choice in terms of processor options between fourth-generation Intel Core i3 and i5 processors and boasts a beautiful full HD display complete with wide viewing angles.

It will go on sale with prices starting at $500 / €368 in November.

Moving on, we have the Android offerings, the Dell Venue 7 and Dell Venue 8, both with Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processors. Dell has packed the right elements into these tablets and ensures that customers will be happy with them a long time from now on.
