Today Dell updated its professional mobile workstation portfolio, by introducing the thin and light 15-inch Precision M3800, a laptop featuring a stylish design combined with powerful features.

Users will be able to take this baby anywhere as the M3800 boasts a very portable frame, being only 1 inch / 18mm thin, with a weight of 4.15 pounds / 1.88 kg. Professional users don’t have to worry about working long hours on the device, as Dell has added dual-cooling abilities to ensure everything runs smoothly all the time.

Client Device Engineer Curt Spence has offered a more in-depth explanation on why the new M3800 is perfect for professionals on the go.

“Our designers frequently travel, to meet with and collaborate with vendors and clients and the new Dell Precision M3800 provides workstation-class performance to power their software applications with an aesthetic design that fits into those collaborative environments and creates the impression we want.”

The laptop features the latest industry standards, as Dell has packed the 4th-generation Intel Core i7-4702HQ 8 threaded quad-core processor and up to 16GB of memory. Customers will be able to choose between on-board operating systems like Windows 8.1 Pro (64-Bit) or Windows 8 Professional (64-Bit).

On top of that, the M3800 offers the power of Kepler-based Nvidia Quadro GPU’s in terms of graphics to ensure that demanding programs run at maximum efficiency. By that, we mean software that most professionals in engineering and content creation use, like Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite or AutoCAD.

The M3800 features a 15.6-inch UltraSharp screen with the option of adding QHD+ resolution, that translates into 3200 x 1800 pixel density.

Dell will make the laptop available starting November 14 and the pricing will start from $1,799 / €1,307.
