The systems have AMD and Intel processors, respectively

Intel has formally released a new collection of mobile personal computers and all-in-one PCs, known as the 5000 series. We'll be looking at the All-in-One systems for now.

They're pretty standard honestly, with configurable memory and storage options, and 10-finger multitouch panels. They wouldn't be able to fully use Windows 8.1 otherwise.

The Inspiron 20 5000 all-in-one has a diagonal of 20 inches and uses an AMD accelerated processing unit (E1-2500 APU with Radeon HD 8240 Graphics). Its price is of $450 / €450.

The Inspiron 23 5000 series measures 23 inches and has an Intel Core CPU inside (Core i5 supported by the H87 chipset). It costs $580 / €580 (since yes, it is available for order).

The newcomers have HDMI ports (in and out) and USB 2.0, plus Gigabit Ethernet and everything else essential for a system to operate.

Most of the connectors are at the back, right underneath the place where the stand attaches to the main body. The new Inspiron 20 and 23 5000 series all-in-ones look like monitors more than anything else.

At least they both ship with the required mouse and keyboard, even if they're nothing fancy. Dell went for affordability here, more so than usual, some might say.
