After finally having released its much anticipated Adamo luxury notebook, Round Rock, Texas-based Dell is rumored to be preparing the release of yet another Adamo model, dubbed Adamo 9. This model was spotted in one of the company's own support documents, indicating that it would be made available alongside the freshly announced Adamo 13. This piece of leaked information has led to a series of speculations indicating that the Adamo 9 will actually surface as a new Dell netbook, one that will compete with some of the high-end netbook models on the market, including ASUS's 10-inch Eee PC S101.

At launch, the new Adamo 13 has been made available in two versions, each one providing the end-user with a slightly modified configuration. Both models sport a 13.4-inch display, but come with either a 1.2GHz or 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, with the base model offering 2GB of memory. Even before it was released, the Adamo was compared with Apple's MacBook Air, due to its sleek and slim form factor and the fact that it featured a technical configuration similar to that of the MacBook Air.

Both Adamo configurations are somewhat high priced, with the base model starting at $1,999, while the slightly better version is available at a starting price of $2,699. However, Dell has apparently thought of those who have instantly fallen in love with the Adamo, which is why it is preparing a netbook version of the system. Unfortunately, there are no specific details on the product, at this time. Still, given its name, the Adamo netbook could sport a 9-inch display, but that is yet to be confirmed.

In addition to the Adamo 9 netbook, Dell is also planning the release of a new all-in-one Studio One system that will sport a 22-inch display.
