14 DAY TRIAL // Those who are thinking of buying one of those sophisticated Dell Alienware gaming notebooks just got an extra reason to do so now that four such machines got special networking solutions from Bigfoot.
Bigfoot Networks specializes in high-end solutions that connect systems to all sorts of networks and, thus, the Internet.
The Killer series of networking products is especially high end, and it looks like Dell decided they were exactly what its Alienware line of gaming machines needed.
More specifically, the outfit took the Killer Wireless-N 1103 high-performance network adapters and added them as possible components to the Alienware M18x, M17x, M14x and M11x.

The Killer Wireless-N 1103 has several key features, like Advanced Stream Detect (prioritizes online games, HD videos and audio when distributing the bandwidth), Visual Bandwidth Control (lets users see how much applications use of the network), PC Monitor (keeps track of PC health) and 11n Performance (enables data rates of 450 Mbps and up to 5X better latency).
It is unclear just how much extra money users will have to pay for a Bigfoot-equipped Alineware machine.
