According to official listing on Dell Germany, the company has updated its Alienware 17 and 18 gaming laptops with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M, GTX 860M and AMD Radeon R9 M290X dedicated video cards.

So currently the Alienware 17.3 is now listed with NVIDIA GTX 880M combined with a whooping 8GB of GDDR5 video memory or GTX 860M with 2GB GDDR5 or AMD R9 M290X with 4GB GDDR5.

The 18.4-inch version features the same video cards but comes in dual-GPU SLI and CrossFire configs. Apart from that the specifications remain unchanged, so gamers purchasing the device will still be getting a 4th Gen Intel Haswell i7 processor combined with 32GB of RAM, 1080p display and optional mSATA solid state storage.

At the moment the German Dell site doesn’t take orders for the new models, but I’ll come back with an update when they do.
