Organizers have also announced a series of events taking place in Romania's major cities

A partial list of speakers has been announced for DefCamp 2013, the security conference scheduled to take place on 29-30 November at the Crystal Palace Ballroom in Bucharest, Romania.

Raoul “Nobody” Chiesa, the founder and president of The Security Brokers, and Carsten Eiram, chief research officer at Risk Based Security, will be special guests at DefCamp 2013.

Chiesa will make a presentation called “Peering in the soul of Hackers: HPP (the United Nations Hacker’s Profiling Project by UNICRI) v2.0 reloaded.” Eram’s keynote is titled “10 Years Later: Are We There Yet?”

The call for paper closes only on November 1, so if you’re interested in participating as a speaker, you can still submit your paper.

This year’s DefCamp will also host a DefCamp Capture the Flag competition and various activities dedicated to attendees, including App2Own, Spot the Cop, Wall of Sheep and Hack the Machine.

In addition to the conference that takes place in Bucharest in late November, DefCamp organizers have also announced 127.0.Def.Camp, a series of local events in some of Romania’s major cities, including Iasi, Cluj Napoca and Timisoara.

These local events last around 8 hours and admission is completely free.
