Electronic Arts (EA), the world-famous game developer based in Redwood, California, has announced that it would soon offer a series of mobile games based on the popular Deal or No Deal TV show. EA and Endemol UK (the TV production company that owns the show) have signed and agreement in order to enable EA Mobile to develop and distribute the games starting November this year.

Introduced in the UK back in 2005, Deal or No Deal has become one of the most successful TV programs of Channel 4. The mobile games based on the show will bring all its elements on our handsets, including "the contestants, the camaraderie and the nail-biting drama".

"We are excited to have the chance to work on one of the most successful TV properties of recent years," declared Javier Ferreira, EA Mobile's Vice President of European Publishing. "Deal or No Deal is a phenomenally successful program, particularly in the UK, and we look forward to creating games that will bring the true spirit of the series to a new audience on mobile platforms."

Jurian van der Meer, Head of Products & Brand Exploitation at Endemol Digital Media, further said, "At Endemol, we have been looking for a partner in the mobile space to help bring this phenomenal property to an even broader audience. We want to focus on our core strength, that of creating incredibly popular IP for a mass broadcast audience and work with global partners, such as EA Mobile, to take our TV proposition to new pervasive platforms".

For the moment, there are no screenshots with any of the upcoming Deal or No Deal mobile games - since none of them is developed. Anyhow, knowing that Electronic Arts has a vast experience in creating cool products, the future mobile games based on Endemol's TV show will most probably prove to be... good deals.
