Those who pre-order the game get extra swimsuits for female fighters

Tecmo Koei has just unveiled the pre-order bonuses for its upcoming Dead or Alive 5 fighting game, as well as the Collector’s Edition that will include a variety of physical and in-game items.

Dead or Alive 5 is one of the most important fighting games that will appear this fall, so Tecmo Koei wants to make sure that it will attract as many customers as possible.

As such, the company has confirmed that special pre-order bonuses in the form of swimsuits for the female fighters, are now available at retailers from all around the world.

Pre-orders in North America from GameStop or Amazon will net customers special swimsuits depending on their choice.

“Players who preorder Dead or Alive 5 at GameStop or Amazon will get an exclusive set of in-game bunny-style swimsuits for three female characters. At GameStop purchasers will get a 'DOA Angels' set of white swimsuits for Kasumi, Leifang, and Hitomi, while Amazon players will get a set of three 'DOA Devils' black swimsuits for Christie, Tina, and Ayane,” Tecmo Koei said.

For true fans of the Dead or Alive series, the company is also offering a special Collector’s Edition that includes all the swimsuits as well as plenty of other goodies, like a metal case, a poster, an artbook, and much more.

“The game's Collector's Edition pulls out all the stops to provide a rich package of physical and in-game items for fans, starting with the first-class embossed steel case that keeps the precious goods inside safe. Along with the game, players get premium swimsuit costumes for DOA5's full cast of playable female characters. An exclusive hardcover art book details the game's lush imagery and the game's stirring soundtrack CD lets fans experience the music of DOA even when they're away from the game. Finally, a full-color poster of the DOA5 cast tops off the deluxe package of items.”

Dead or Alive 5 will be released onto the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms on September 25 in North America, and September 28 in Europe.
