Dead Rising 2 has been officially launched a few days ago, and Capcom has already revealed to new owners the batches of downloadable content it will be releasing for the third person zombie hack and slash.

Dead Rising 2 was launched just a few days ago all around the world, for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and Capcom has already revealed its plans to support the game after its release through multiple DLC packs.

All of them will give the game's protagonist, Chuck Greene, new outfits and special abilities associated with the costumes from the paid DLC.

The first one is the Psychopath Theme Pack, set to be launched on October 12, which will dress Chuck in a hockey mask, and equip him with a chainsaw, cleavers and other various deadly weapons.

The Soldier of Fortune DLC will hit on October 19, and offer Chuck a Rambo-ish look with a tank top and camouflage trousers, as well as outfit him with a new spray attack when using automatic weapons.

Next up, on October 26, the Sports Fan Pack will arrive, offering Chuck increased damage with sports-themed weapons, will add a basketball that bounces when hitting zombies and deals extra damage.

Last but not least, on November 2, the Ninja Theme Pack will be released, equipping Chuck with the classic black suit, and adding extra damage with throwing weapons and swords, and a faster movements and attacks.

All this Dead Rising 2 DLC will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live online services, but a price has yet to be revealed by Capcom, nor the possibility of this DLC arriving for the PC version of Dead Rising 2.

The first Psychopath DLC will be free to those that bought the Dead Rising 2 High Stakes Edition, thanks to the voucher included with that pricier copy of the game.
