Former “Baywatch” star David Hasselhoff, also known as The Hoff in the media, is preparing to bring his personal life on the small screen by means of a reality show that is currently in the works at A&E, Star Magazine informs. This way, not only will the star be able to redeem his public image that has taken quite a hit in recent years, but also to make a comeback to television.

The show, for which no deal has been signed yet, will also include David’s two teenage daughters, but not his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, with whom the actor has been battling it out in court for about three years. However, at this point in time, neither A&E nor a spokesperson for Hasselhoff can reveal more details about the show until they sign on the dotted line. Speculation has it, though, that the upcoming show will also serve the purpose of redeeming the actor in the eyes of the public.

“Troubled actor David Hasselhoff is in talks to star in his own US reality TV show alongside his two teenage daughters. Hasselhoff has endured a very public three-year divorce trial from ex-wife Pamela Bach, with whom he shares 17-year-old Hayley and 19-year-old Taylor Ann. The former ‘Baywatch’ actor has battled with alcohol addiction in the public eye and recently hit headlines amid rumors a relapse had sparked family feuds.” Star writes.

Speculation about a reality show seems to have started after The Hoff’s daughter Hayley tweeted a few days ago that the Hasselhoff reality show was coming and the world would better be prepared. A&E is currently in negotiations with the actor for the series, but, as also noted above, the deal is not final yet. In the meanwhile, talk of David relapsing to alcohol use continues to make the rounds, especially since he reportedly punched a doctor after a few days’ binge.

“The medic was called in by the actor’s assistant after Hoff, 57, had been drinking for days at his London hotel. Anxious staff there had feared 6ft 4in Hasselhoff was out of control. And he lashed out when he was confronted by the physician – accidentally decking Dr Paul Ettlinger. Staff at the five-star St Martins Lane Hotel manhandled the star to the basement while Ettlinger – said to have a bruised forehead – called for an ambulance.” The Sun was saying not long ago, as we also reported.
