14 DAY TRIAL // Victoria Beckham seems to have gone to great lengths to keep her baby bump under wraps. She also insisted she wasn’t about to show off her bump on the cover of a magazine, like other stars. Clearly, husband David does not feel the same way.
With only so little to go until she gives birth to the couple’s fourth child (their first daughter), Victoria can be seen in all pregnant glory in a new photo taken by David when she wasn’t paying attention.
After taking the shot, the footballer made sure he shared the secret with the rest of the world, by posting it on his official Facebook page.
“Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn’t looking. She looks amazing! So close now to the baby being born!” David gushed in a comment to the photo.
As Us Magazine points out, the photo of Victoria’s bump comes just one day after she spoke to WWD and explained why she had refused offers from magazines asking her to pose with her bump on show for their covers.
“I’m not really one of those people that likes to go out and pose and flaunt being pregnant,” the 37-year-old star said for the women’s publication.
Other A-listers who have also been offered magazine covers while pregnant and immediately said yes (and shed some clothes) include Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and, of course, the one who started this “trend” Demi Moore.
“Not like there’s anything wrong in that. I’m so proud to be pregnant and I feel so blessed and so happy, I really do. But I’m just not that kind of person,” Victoria said.
Contrary to speculation, Victoria did not schedule her C-section for the Fourth of July in Los Angeles. Neither did she name her daughter Alabama or Felicity, as we also noted a few days ago.
Nevertheless, a rep for the couple has confirmed that she will deliver in the US, sometime in early July.
