The folks at Man at Arms did an amazing job

Devil May Cry is a popular franchise among gamers and so is the protagonist of the franchise, Dante. Even though it was originally developed as a title in the Resident Evil series, Devil May Cry has become a new IP due to the totally different vision of the developer Ninja Theory.

Since the first title in the franchise made it on PC and consoles, it was a real success and Dante has become the father figure of the DMC series.

Now 13 years after the series’ debut, one of the weapons appearing in the game, Dante’s Rebellion sword, has been reforged in real life by the folks over at Man at Arms.

The show in which a team of blacksmiths and craftsman build some of other people’s favorite weapons, as well some that have never been seen before.

Each week, based on fans’ votes, Man at Arms tries to remake a weapon that only exists in games or movies and this week’s pick has been Dante’s Rebellion sword.

This isn't the first recreation of Dante's Rebellion sword though, but it's one of the best

They have used bandsaw blades made of high-nickel steel and banding straps to create the blade. The demon head and bone arms, as well as the rib cage on the sword’s handle have been made entirely from bronze.

The crown at the end of the handle is made of bronze as well. The mold for the steel blade’s handle was made from a special, very durable wax.

Man at Arms doesn’t do just weapons though. Last year they have turned the Hobbit-hole Bag End that appears in The Hobbit movie into a kitty litter box, while the Eye of Sauron has been turned into a cat scratching post. So these things can be very amusing sometimes.

Don’t forget to watch the entire process in the video below and vote for the next weapon that you would want to see Man at Arms reforge in their next show.
