True love never dies and it always, without an exception, conquers all obstacles: Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman, who have been one of the most enduring couples in showbiz for over 3 decades, are back together again.

In an industry where a relationship of just a few months is considered “solid” and “serious,” news that DeVito and Perlman had separated and were considering divorce came as a shock last October.

Always very private, the two never said what had happened to make them realize flying solo would be best but, whatever it was, it’s now been fixed, People magazine reports.

“The beloved pair, married for 30 years and one of Hollywood's most enduring couples, have been quietly working on their relationship in recent months and have called off the separation, a source tells People,” the celebrity publication writes.

“The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star, 68, and the former Cheers actress, 64, tied the knot in 1982 and have a son and two daughters, all in their 20s,” adds the same media outlet.

The insider says for People that the two have been trying to mend their relationship since they announced that it was over and, it would seem, all that hard work is finally paying off.

“They love each other. Always have and always will,” the insider is quoted as saying.

“Danny has been moving heaven and Earth to win Rhea back — and it has worked,” another insider reveals, this time for Radar Online.

Late last year, as rumors about the probable cause for the separation were spreading like wildfire online, Danny said in an interview that he did not consider himself and Rhea separated in the basic sense of the word.

He admitted they were having some problems, but insisted that they were still “together.” He also promised he was doing his best to make the relationship work again and, clearly, if the above report is accurate, he’s been doing a fine job at it.
