Over the weekend, the first excerpts from Dannii Minogue’s upcoming book, “My Story,” came out, talking, among other things about her feud with Sharon Osbourne on X Factor and how she was constantly bullied and humiliated by the older television star.

Not the one to leave her mother defenseless, Sharon Osbourne has taken to her Twitter to explain how Dannii is offering a biased version of the truth just to out of spite – because she’s “the Devil.”

In the book, which will come out on September 30, as per the News of the World, Dannii talks about her first season as judge on X Factor and how Sharon reportedly set out to make it a living hell for her even before they went in front of the cameras for the first time.

Admittedly, Sharon’s purpose was to annoy, upset and belittle her from the get-go, because she simply would not have Dannii next to her as a judge for reasons only she knew.

Luckily, Dannii says, she managed to overcome all of this, even if there were many times when she felt like she’d been hired for the part as a practical joke, because Sharon and others needed a punching bag.

Outraged by the claims made in the upcoming book, Sharon’s daughter, Kelly, has taken to Twitter to vent – and try and warn the public that Dannii is simply stirring up old trouble to garner publicity.

According to Kelly, Dannii practically owes her entire career in the UK to the so-called feud she had with Sharon, so perhaps she shouldn’t badmouth her just to get more publicity.

“the best thing to happen to dannii’s career was that my mother hated her she needs to shut her mouth and concenterate [sic] on motherhood!,” Kelly lashes out on Twitter.

“I will be the first one to admit that my mother did not play her cards right when came to dannii but trust me when I say dannii is the devil,” the star goes on to say, admitting Sharon didn’t handle the matter of the “feud” right in the media.

“dannii, you are so lucky that I respect simon enough to not tell the truth about what really happened. wa wa wa you poor middle aged victum [sic],” Kelly says.

“to the 12 dannii fans out there I ask you this question what would you do if someone wrote a book of lies about your mother? I think you all forget I was there I saw everything and if my mum was the ‘bully’ why was she the one that left the show?” Kelly further asks.

On a final note, Kelly says she simply had to go public with this because this has been going on for far too long already (4 years).
