However, the actor doesn't think that he has what it takes to play the spy

“Harry Potter” actor Daniel Radcliffe is growing up very fast. He's moved on from wanting to play boy wizards to wanting to play serious villains. The Brit has his eyes firmly set on the role of a James Bond villain, of all things.

Radcliffe doesn't seem to think that the role of the handsome British spy James Bond would be to his tastes, but he'd much rather be on the wrong side of the law, wanting to be a baddie. Also, he doesn't think he's got the body for it, like Daniel Craig, whose physique has made many a woman pine for his affection.

The Sun spoke with someone close to Daniel, and the person in question related about Radcliffe's preferences, “Daniel thinks he would be an excellent villain in the Bond films. He loves the franchise but admires the villains as much as Bond.”

“He feels he could appear as a modern bad guy, an evil mastermind who wants to take down MI5,” the confidential source added and informed the newspaper that “He may not have the physique to take on Daniel Craig, but his broody acting can make him a menace.”

Not only that, but Daniel hopes that his role could be recurring, meaning that he'll get the chance to star in more than one movie.

He might be a little too late with his wishful thinking though, since the rumors surrounding the latest Bond film already speak of a returning villain, something which hasn't happened since the `70s movie, when Blofeld and Jaws used to make Bond's life miserable.
