14 DAY TRIAL // Damn Small Linux, a.k.a. DSL, after several months of work and five release candidates, finally got to version 4.0.
The kernel was upgraded from 2.4.26 to version 2.4.31. The "Getting Started" screen was updated so you can see the changes that took place for this release of DSL.
Now some new support modules are available, like cloop, unionfs, ndiswrapper, fuse, madwifi etc. The file manager was changed to dfm, so the drag-n-drop capability can be used. MurgaLua is now v.0.5.5 and flrun.lua is v1.1.2.

It has only 50 MB, so you can boot it form an USB pen drive, business card CD and it can run very well even on a 486DX with 16MB of RAM.
