One of the most anticipated movies of 2015 is, for a large segment of the (female) moviegoing audience, the big screen adaptation of the first novel in the “Fifty Shades” series by E.L. James, “Fifty Shades of Grey,” with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as leads.

The film doesn’t come out until next Valentine’s Day, but that’s not to say you have to wait that much to get juicy details about the production because, by the looks of things, the promotional tour for it has long started.

Dakota is featured in the latest issue of Elle magazine in character, as the innocent but still very attractive Anastasia Steele, she who steals Christian Grey’s heart and makes him fall in love with her – and finally open up to a woman after years of not doing it.

Johnson says this is precisely what first attracted her to the role, and not the fact that, as Anastasia, she would have to shoot a lot of revealing scenes, all of them with Dornan’s Christian Grey.

“Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the [love] scenes. I think there’s a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down,” Dakota explains.

Speaking of love scenes, the young model and actress says she doesn’t have a problem with showing too much skin on camera because, “I don’t have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame.”

Those who aren’t really looking forward for the film are already snickering online at that last part of her comment, saying that it’s a good thing she has “no shame” because, when the movie comes out and will undoubtedly be trashed by critics, such a quality will serve her just fine. Well, that and the fact that it will probably make millions at the box office.

“Fifty Shades” started as “Twilight” fan fiction, with E.L. James writing the characters of Christian and Anastasia based on Edward and Bella, and placing them in a more adult-oriented context. The trilogy is a best-selling one, so bringing it to the big screen was just a matter of time.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” the movie is only the first installment in a new planned franchise.
