Dancing With the Stars has again sparked allegations of injust appreciation, with the latest show seeing one of the favorite and strongest contestants being sent home: Audrina Patridge has been eliminated.

As E! Online can confirm, the most recent DWTS show confirmed Bristol Palin’s strong position, regardless of negative media and plenty of criticism from fans of the televised competition.

While Bristol was voted on despite a few very visible and intensely mediated missteps this season, Patridge, of whom many even dared say she would win, was sent packing.

Fans of DWTS are just as shocked as the dancers still in the competition, especially since Audrina got only good scores and positive reviews since the current season started.

“The Hills star had been one of the season’s strongest dancers so far, though she had been taking heat for a lack of intensity and fire in her Latin performances,” E! says.

“I was really pushing it, trying to get more character, but I guess I just can’t tap into that right now. [But I had] so much fun,” Audrina said shortly after she was eliminated.

While the reality star is probably too delicate to call things for what they were, Len Goodman wasn’t.

“This is ludicrous that one of these two is going home,” he said as Audrina and Jennifer Grey were before him, awaiting the public vote.

“We like the underdog, but we like justice more, and there is no justice these two being here. It’s nonsense,” Goodman added.

“Meanwhile, the ascendant Brandy, who has supplanted both Jennifer and Audrina at the top of the leaderboard the last two weeks, had no cause for panic tonight,” E! further says.

“Despite being flagged many times and ending up in last place, Kurt Warner was as safe as a Montana-to-Rice pass – football fans are so loyal! – and survived to dance two routines next week, along with Brandy, Bristol, Jennifer, Rick Fox and Kyle Massey,” the same e-zine further reports.
