14 DAY TRIAL // Iusacell is the carrier that will bring the first Android 2.2 smartphone to Mexico, namely Motorola MOTOROI X, also known as Motorola DROID X. The device will be available in Q4 2010, just in time for the winter holidays.
With MOTOROI X, users will have an enhanced experience thanks to its ultra-fast web browsing, lots of RAM and social messaging intuitive capabilities.
The sleek smartphone is powered by a TI OMAP 3630-1000 1 GHz processor and runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) platform.

Users will be able to take advantage of the smartphone's 3G HotSpot feature that provides access to up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices.
MOTOROI X is also compatible with Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and gives access to the Android Market with more than 100,000 applications, in addition to Ubicacel Copilot, Iusacell's navigation application.
Other key features of the device include: 4.3-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 854 pixels resolution, 6.5 GB internal memory, 512 MB RAM, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 16GB included) and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The Android-based device comes with Motorola’s proprietary MOTOBLUR 1.5 UI and boasts an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and video recording capabilities (720p@24fps).

The carrier is yet to reveal the smartphone's price tag.
