Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is gearing up for the launch of new, highly appealing Android-based mobile phones on its airwaves, and some info on the possible price tags that these devices would arrive on the market with has just emerged into the wild.

Some of the handsets that have been long rumored to come to the carrier have been got their MAP (minimum advertised price) leaked, including the DROID X2, or the Incredible 2, along with already announced phones, such as LG Revolution, or the DROID Charge (Samsung 4G LTE smartphone).

According to the leaked info (available via Droid-Life), Verizon might be set to make the DROID Charge, for example, available on its airwaves with a price tag of $299 attached to it, while the LG Revolution is listed with a $249 price tag on contract.

Both mobile phones come to the market with 4G LTE capabilities on board, and this might be the reason for which they are so expensive even with the signing of two-years contracts.

However, it appears that they are not the only new Android mobile phones on their way to the wireless carrier, and that Motorola DROID X2 also emerged, with a $199 cost next to it, along with the DROID Incredible 2, which should be priced similarly.

Specific info on when these handsets might become available for purchase on the wireless carrier's network did not emerge for the time being, though the DROID Charge was rumored before to land this week, with Incredible 2 expected to arrive the next.

No official confirmation on this emerged for the time being, and we should wait for Verizon to make a formal announcement before carving these prices in stone.

Hopefully, previous rumors would pan out, and Verizon would finally decide to come up with all the necessary details on these handsets in the near future, so stay tuned for updates on the matter.
