Motorola DROID Bionic is the next big thing that should become available for purchase in the United States on the airwaves of Verizon Wireless, and some more info on it emerged.

Only a few days ago, we learned that the first DROID Bionic units were being delivered to Verizon stores around the country, and those who did not have time to take a look at the phone's retail box can do so in a new video.

Embedded at the bottom of this article, you will have the chance to see a video of this new 4G LTE-capable Android mobile phone being unboxed (via Android Central).

Moreover, the clip will get them through the phone's UI and will also deliver a quick look at the About screen, which is one more reason to watch it, especially if you have been expecting DROID Bionic to land on shelves ever since Motorola and Verizon announced it at CES in January.

Along with the said video, the guys over at Android Central brought to the spotlight a series photos with the handset's Internet browser bring benchmarked.

Apparently, those who will purchase a new DROID Bionic on Verizon's network will be able to enjoy fast Internet navigation, at least when compared to what other Android-based phones have to offer.

Of course, this does not mean that the mobile phone will perform as great when in users' hands, but it still looks like Verizon and Motorola are about to launch another winner.

When compared to the Nexus One, the DROID Bionic delivers better browser performance, the tests showed.

However, we should not forget that the DROID Bionic is a dual-core device, even if it comes with the Blur UI loaded on top of Gingerbread, while Nexus One, which is about two years old, runs under stock Android 2.3.4.

For the time being, no official confirmation on the availability of this mobile phone has emerged, but rumor has it that it should arrive on the market later this week.
