Verizon Wireless is trying to attract customers by offering new deals on Android smartphones, such as Motorola DROID RAZR and DROID BIONIC.

Shortly after having discounted the DROID RAZR, but pulled the 16GB microSD card from the sales package, the carrier did the same move with the DROID BIONIC.

Starting today, customers can purchase the Motorola DROID BIONIC for only $99.99 with a new two-year agreement. However, they will not find a 16GB memory card that usually comes with the phone in the packaging.

For the time being, the deal is only available online at the carrier’s site, but Verizon states that the same offer will be at its stores in the coming weeks.

In addition, several accessories for the Motorola DROID BIONIC will be available as well, but they will have to be purchased separately.

The DROID BIONIC packs 16GB of internal memory, but only 11GB are user available, so customers may want to take the acquisition of a microSD memory card into consideration to expand the amount of storage.

However, Verizon Wireless is offering an outrageous deal on a memory card. It appears that the carrier is selling a 4GB microSD card (adapter included) for no less than $24.99. Fortunately, these memory cards can be easily purchased from eBay for a much lower price.

As we already mentioned, Verizon also sells several DROID BIONIC accessories, such as the Motorola SF200 Sports Headphones, which are available for $49.99.

There’s also an OtterBox Defender Series Rugged Case, which can be purchased for the same $49.99 amount. The case is meant to keep the smartphone protected against impact, scratches and more.

Motorola DROID BIONIC is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz. There’s also an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary VGA camera for video calls.
