Capcom comes with bonuses for those who are still waiting

Two million console copies of Capcon's hit game Devil May Cry have already been sold worldwide and it seems that even more will be added to the final sales figures, since developers have announced the incoming PC version of the game which, as it always happens with later releases, will feature new content, modes and enhanced graphics options. And if you check the screenshots below (all from the PC version!) you'll understand that PC users will receive a real eye-candy.

Even though an exact release date was not announced, Capcom said that Devil May Cry 4 would be released this Summer, with a demo arriving before the full game. And since summer is close, we're pretty sure that the demo will pop up sooner than others might have expected. Also, the new game is said to offer "good things to those who wait", since the PC owners will benefit from having more modes and more visual customisation options to help enhance their demon-slaying action.

For example, the Turbo Mode will turn up the action to crazy speeds, while the Legendary Dark Knight Mode will harness advanced PC processing power and fill the screen with huge numbers of enemies for the utmost demon slaying experience. Also, if you already have the console version and feel like there's no need to invest in the PC one as well, you might be surprised, since the game will not be exactly the same: monsters from the console versions will show up in new locations on the PC one.

In what seems to be Capcom's desire to prove that PCs are better than consoles, the cutscenes are said to run at up to 120 frames per second on high resolution (up from 30 frames per second in the console version of the game!). The game will support both DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 and it will be compliant with Games for Windows. Unfortunately, no system recommendations have been released by Capcom, but we have a feeling that these will be pretty high.

Guess we'll see a part of it when the demo gets released. Until then, enjoy the first PC screenshots:
