14 DAY TRIAL // DJ Megatron was killed in a robbery almost two years ago but it’s just now that his family can finally get some closure after the loss: the man who shot him in the abdomen has been sentenced to 21 years in prison.

In January this year, William Williams, 22, pled guilty to first-degree manslaughter. His other option was to stand trial for second-degree murder, which came with a maximum of 25 years if convicted.
For first-degree manslaughter, he will spend only 21 years behind bars, the AP reports.
Williams did not act alone: he and an accomplice stalked Megatron, thinking he’d make the perfect victim to rob because he was starting to get more airplay with his radio show.
The accomplice will be sentenced next Monday.
