The Czech Republic has registered its first quintuplets ever on Sunday. 23-year-old mother Alexandra Kinova has delivered the babies without complications, reports say.

Kinova has had four boys, Deniel, Michael, Alex and Martin and one daughter, Terezka. She and boyfriend Antonin Kroscen already have a son.

She has given birth by Cesarean, and the fertilization was not performed in vitro. The infants are healthy and they have been given a 95 per cent of developing in a normal manner. According to Metro, they are currently in the intensive care unit.

“When we finally found a fifth head, I started to cry,” she recalled of the moment when she found out that she would be having quintuplets.

As I wrote, she was originally told that she would be giving birth to four children.
