As proved by the Audi Smart Display Tablet at CES 2014, slates might be a useful thing to have in your car for various reasons.

But we’re not going to be talking about a tablet that can control your in-car environment or take verbal commands here, but of an accessory with a much simpler use aimed to provide entertainment for the passengers in the back.

The CarGo Tablet mount is said to allow car passengers to "transform the back seat into a digital entertainment hub." (via Fonearena).

The mount will securely hold your tablet in place, so you can watch videos and movies while travelling on the back seat of the car. The accessory allows for 360-degree rotation and tilt features, as one can position the device horizontally or vertically.

Don’t worry about disturbing the driver, either. The mount has been designed in such a way as to allow easy access to all ports and controllers (including earphone ports) so you can watch your scary movies without annoying everybody else.

The Cygnett CarGo tablet mount has been made available for Rs 2,999 / $48 / €35 in India.
